Unfortunately Alpha EMC does not have the man power to provide relief in order for you to utilize a holiday/vacation day without having to overwork. This policy comes from the NC General Permits 7 day compliance law/requirement. When all is said and done you will have worked two doubles without compensation just to utilize a paid vacation day or a paid holiday. The following week you will have to repeat the 'Prior to Inspections' and also reset the inspections back to the regular inspection date. You will be required to complete all work that is due on the day you request off prior to the day you are off of work. In order to have a paid holiday off or use a paid vacation day you will have to complete what is referred to as an 'Inspection Reset' or a 'Holiday Reset'.
